A New ‘Magical’ Address

There’s a new address where the legendary service of Four Seasons meets Disney magic: Four Seasons Private Residences Orlando at Walt Disney World® Resort, Florian Park.

Approximately four miles from Magic Kingdom® Park, this intimate collection of just 40 residences offers resort-style living with the personalized care that defines Four Seasons—all nestled inside Orlando’s exclusive gated neighbourhood, Golden Oak at Walt Disney World Resort. Opened in 2011, Golden Oak is renowned for its proximity to Walt Disney World, with residents enjoying exclusive Disney-designed experiences.

Now its story welcomes a new chapter: Florian Park, the latest jewel in the community’s enchanting portfolio of homes.

Florian Park: A Neighborhood Shaped by Thoughtful Design

Homes within Florian Park are complemented by meticulously groomed landscape design. (The attached two-level Boutique Homes are not yet built, are proposed and subject to change.)

Neighbouring Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World® Resort, these gracious residences form their own distinctive enclave. Set amid a lush landscape that makes the most of Central Florida’s subtropical climate—think swaying palm trees and vibrant flowers blooming year-round—Florian Park includes nine proposed attached two-level homes and a single, elevated address with 31 three- and four-bedroom Luxe Residences. The collection is crowned by five expansive two-level penthouses.

Each of the signature Luxe Residences features a gourmet kitchen and a spacious primary suite, while the additional bedrooms are also en suite. The Penthouse Residences offer four distinct floor plans ranging from approximately 6,590 to 7,002 square feet across two levels. The penthouses boast impressive primary suites on the first level and three en suite bedrooms upstairs, along with kitchens complete with wine storage, elevators, and private balconies.

At the heart of Florian Park lies a vibrant outdoor living space designed for connection, relaxation, and family enjoyment. The lakeside residents-only retreat features a heated pool with private cabanas, a children’s water play area, fire pits for cozy gatherings, and an events lawn.

For Page Pierce, Vice President of Real Estate Development for Emerging Business at The Walt Disney Company, Florian Park represents the epitome of Golden Oak’s enchanted story—an exciting opportunity to purchase a new home within the exclusive, golf-cart-friendly community.

“Golden Oak has been an extraordinary success story, bringing families together to experience the Disney lifestyle in a way that is timeless and inspiring,” says Pierce. “With Florian Park, we are proud to offer this unique opportunity to call the community of Golden Oak home. It integrates seamlessly with the character and charm of Golden Oak, making this a fitting addition to the community’s remarkable journey.” Homes within Florian Park are complemented by graciously appointed interiors by Parker-Torres Design and meticulously groomed landscape design.

Private Residences Florian Park
Penthouse Residences will range from approximately 6,590 to 7,002 square feet across two levels.

The vision for the neighbourhood, explains Mike Lentz, Vice President with project developer Host Hotels & Resorts, was to create a unique residence-inspired experience that reflects both the surrounding Golden Oak community and the grandeur of the Mediterranean and Spanish Revival architecture of Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort next door.

“The exterior architecture of the Luxe Residences was designed to pay homage to the classical architecture of the Four Seasons hotel, with a contemporary and residential feel,” says Lentz. “This also allowed us to create a new neighbourhood of Boutique Homes inspired by the layout and scale of the Golden Oak cottages with an elevated French-Moderne style.”

The interiors, adds Lentz, are designed “to provide generous living areas and flex rooms and an understated elegance with materials that reflect the natural surroundings.”

Secret’s Out: 5 Hush-Hush Four Seasons Speakeasies

The latest example of the everything-old-is-new again trend? Speakeasies, bars with hard-to-find entrances, no signage, and an undeniable air of mystery and exclusivity. Today’s versions of the American Prohibition era staple, of course, are perfectly legal, but they retain the sexy, enterprising spirit of their forebears. Here are five hidden-gem watering holes at Four Seasons properties around the world.

80 Proof

80 Proof at Four Seasons Jackson Hole
At Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole.

This hidden 750-square-foot bar offers an array of cocktails, zero-proof concoctions, wine, and beer. Maroon tiles, red velvet curtains, leather chairs, and soft lighting lend the space a low-key moodiness.

Find it: Through a door concealed behind a painting.

Must-try: “My favourite house cocktail to build is our Pedro Romero. Not only is the cocktail perhaps our most visually compelling, with multiple different coloured layers, but it also showcases a very unique glassware shaped as a glass powder horn,” says lead mixologist Nick Gatz.

Bandista

Inspired by the story of tequileros who smuggled liquor to the United States during Prohibition, this sexy-meets-swanky, 20-seat lounge has an impressive and extensive collection of tequilas, mezcals, and raicillas

Find it: Via a service elevator, through a kitchen, and, with a secret code, behind a bookcase. (Reservations are required.)

Must-try: The Almost Famous, featuring Los Siete Misterios Coyote mezcal, roasted pineapple- and epazote-infused Dolin Génépy le Chamois, charred citrus, and Scarlet Aperitivo. The secret ingredient is “paparazzi,” says beverage manager Johnathan Jones. Yes, paparazzi. You’ll have to try it to find out just what that means.

This buzzy, gleaming, glamorous drinking den is named after bon vivant Charles H. Baker, an American author known for his writings about cocktails. On July 31, a new eight-seat bar concept called the Lab of  Fine Drinking: H. Bar will make its debut in the most discreet corner of Charles H.

Find it: Behind an unmarked door in the basement.

Must-try: The Birthday Boy, a citrus-flavoured drink “stirred on ice and poured into a glass decorated with gold leaf, then garnished with a piece of orange chocolate crafted by my marvelous pastry team,” says the head bartender of Charles H., Odd Strandbakken.

If the name doesn’t give away this bar’s luxe library theme, the card catalog holding the reservations certainly will. The selection of cocktails tells “the story of Florida’s heritage,” says lead mixologist Jaclyn Keogh.

Find it: Once you make a reservation, you’ll be presented with clues to the bar’s clandestine location. A library card–styled electronic key opens the unmarked door.

Must-try: Epilogue keeps its menu confidential, but Keogh shares that one of the bar’s most popular cocktails uses several ingredients from local farms: “It’s a guest favourite because of its element of surprise.”

The vibe is old-school charm, complete with Chesterfield sofas and navy wood-paneled walls. “It’s the kind of place that makes you want to sit down, sip slow, and stay awhile,” says beverage manager Diego Torres.

Find it: Via an unassuming, unmarked door off the lobby.

Must-try: Prohibition-era drinks with a twist. The bar takes classics (the bee’s knees, the sidecar, the old-fashioned) and elevates them “with house infusions, fresh herbs, or handcrafted syrups,” says Torres.

For the little ones: Character breakfasts, Splash Zone and in-room amenities

When you stay at Four Seasons, you’re a VIP no matter your age. Even babies and toddlers will find joy waiting for them around every corner. One of the most popular experiences for young guests is Good Morning Breakfast with Goofy & His Pals, offered every Thursday and Saturday morning at Ravello. Feast on an assortment of breakfast favourites while Goofy and other beloved characters make their way around the room, charming kids and adults alike. Another perk of being young? Children 5 and younger dine free throughout the Resort (excluding character breakfasts), and the complimentary Pasta & Play service at Ravello invites children ages 4 to 12 to come out to the Spa Lawn for post-meal supervised activities while the adults relax and finish their dinner.

While guests of all ages could easily spend a day wandering the five-acre Explorer Island water park, the Splash Zone is sure to be a highlight for the youngest family members. Its zero-entry shallow wade-in areas, choreographed fountains, towering columns, fog nozzles, water curtains and other interactive features are bound to bring out the smiles. The 7,590-square-foot (705-square-metre) Family Pool also features a toddler slide and a gradual, sloping entry that’s perfect for wading.

Parents of babies and toddlers will also appreciate the breadth of amenities available at Four Seasons upon check-in. From cribs to diaper pails to in-room footstools and child-size bathrobes, the Resort team has considered every detail to make your trip as seamless as possible. Forget something at home? Want to make sure your room is stocked with snacks before your return at naptime? All you need to do is ask, and the team will make it happen.

For young children: A water park, kids club and dive-in movies

For children ages 4 to 12, the Resort’s Kids For All Seasons complimentary camp is available daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Housed in The Mansion – a stately yet whimsical structure located on Explorer Island – the fully supervised program lets you drop the kids off for as little as one hour or for the full day so you can have a little time to yourself while they participate in a variety of fun activities, creative games and outdoor recreation. The space features a large, air-conditioned playroom with an interactive volcano play structure, plus an outside playground and spacious lawn area where the staff takes kids to play various outdoor games. On Saturday nights, Kids For All Seasons also hosts the Explorer Island Takeover from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, which for a small fee includes dinner and a special swim shirt to take home.

Children this age will also love the new Explorer’s Activity Guide program, which makes exploring the sprawling Resort even more fun. Upon check-in, they’ll receive an eight-page booklet featuring characters inspired by the animals often spotted around the Resort – Freckles the Fawn, Tommy the Turtle, Bonnie the Bunny, Freddie the Fox, and Olly the Owl. Kids can then complete challenges and activities spread across the grounds, earning a stamp at each stop. Once they’ve completed the booklet, they’ll receive the “True Explorer Certification,” which comes with a complimentary scoop of gelato at Lickety Split, the Orlando Resort’s lobby ice cream shop. In addition to the booklet, kids will also get a plush version of an animal pal and will find an “Explorer’s Bedtime Story” card at their bedside inviting families to listen to a custom bedtime story featuring their new animal friends.

Spending a day at the on-site water park is also a must for this crew. They’ll love sliding down the two waterslides, splashing in the pools and making new friends along the way. For more quality time together, be sure to bring the whole family to the weekly dive-in movies screened at the Family Pool. Watch a family-friendly film on the billboard-size screen while floating in the water or relaxing on a lounge chair with popcorn in hand.

For teens: A dedicated teen lounge, video games and lazy river

Teenagers can be tricky to please, but the Resort has you covered. Created specifically for kids ages 12 and older, The Hideout is a dedicated space for teens to unwind. Tucked away behind the Splash Zone on Explorer Island, it features a gaming room with multiple video game consoles, a multiplayer PAC-MAN game, billiards, Foosball and more, making it the perfect spot to hang out and meet new friends. Want the whole family to get in on the games, too? Kids under 12 are also allowed with adult supervision.

Young athletes will love the basketball court, sand volleyball court and a multi-use turf sport court located right next to The Hideout for shooting hoops and a variety of outdoor games. Teens can also stroll to the water park pool, ride down the waterslides and float down the lazy river. Note that the Lazy River isn’t typical: outfitted with two spray cannons, a 9-foot (2.75-metre) waterfall and a rapids section, this lazy river is both relaxing and stimulating.

Another option for both teens and the whole family is to play a match on one of the Resort’s three Har-Tru tennis courts. Book a tennis lesson for your teen with the on-site tennis pro, Alain Labrecque, to sharpen their skills, or include the whole family.

For adults: Golf, spa and award-winning dining

Adults, this Orlando family Resort has certainly not forgotten about you. Here, family time can seamlessly transition to “me time” and back again. When you want to enjoy the water but need a quick kid break, the Oasis Pool is a tranquil, adults-only pool where you can go for a swim listening to underwater music, soak in the whirlpool, and enjoy a drink while lounging by the water overlooking the nearby lake. For even more privacy, book an Oasis Cabana, located right by the pool. Your reservation comes with a welcome beverage, a fridge stocked with four drinks of your choice, a USD 75 food and beverage credit, a variety of in-cabana amenities, and personalized service throughout your pool time.

Be sure to book a relaxing treatment at the Resort’s Spa, and unwind in the indoor and outdoor relaxation areas, including a steam room, spa tub, tranquillity lounge, high-tech experience showers, a solarium and Somadome meditation pods. For something a little more active, drop in on one of the daily fitness classes to stay on track with your routine while on vacation, or book a round at Tranquilo Golf Course. The Tom Fazio–designed 18-hole course is a Certified Audubon Sanctuary surrounded by picturesque scenery and protected wetlands, making it a beautiful place to play for any skill level.

While the kids are having a blast at Kids For All Seasons or at the Saturday night Explorer Island Takeover, book a table at Michelin-starred Capa, a Spanish-style steakhouse perched on the Resort’s 17th-floor rooftop. Take a seat on the patio and indulge in shareable small plates, fresh Florida seafood and expertly grilled cuts prepared on a wood-burning grill, all while enjoying one of the area’s best views of the nightly fireworks. After planning such an unforgettable vacation, you deserve a magical evening all your own.

10th anniversary celebrations

To commemorate a decade of magic, Four Seasons is pulling out all the stops during a year-long celebration, kicking off on August 10 with the Starry Night Celebration at Capa. Those who purchase advance tickets to the private event can indulge in multiple carving stations, a raw bar, paella, signature cocktails, live musicians, dancers and more, culminating in a dazzling fireworks display.

Later in the year, adults can look forward to the brand-new adults-only speakeasy, Epilogue, slated to open in early September to serve up artfully prepared cocktails and gourmet bar snacks in a mid-century modern setting. Come fall, you’ll find plenty of Halloween-inspired family activities, including Halloween play tents and several candy stops around the Resort, while in December, a Retro Roller Skating Rink will open up in the Resort’s Palm Ballroom for some festive fun. On top of that, Spring 2025 will see a pop-up poolside version of the beloved Lickety Split, as well as a variety of spring break and summer activities for everyone.

If you’re making plans for your next family vacation, there’s never been a better time to visit Four Seasons Orlando.

“Indulging in a meal inspired by ancient Hawaiian ingredients and traditions is a fusion of cultural exploration and culinary delights,” says Director of Concierge and Guest Experiences Margaux Pfeiffer. “Adding Kala’s insights into traditional navigation techniques is a one-of-a-kind experience that showcases the rich heritage and natural bounty of the Hawaiian islands.”

Along the way, it winds through the island’s lush jungle and majestic gorges, offering opportunities for thrilling adventure: some of the best Class II and Class III white-water rafting in the world. During Bali’s dry season (May to October), the water is lower, making it ideal for rafters of all ages – you’ll experience some rough water, some rocks and small drops.

Set out with a guide from Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay or Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan and catch a glimpse of Bali’s vibrant culture as you paddle past splashing waterfalls, rice-farming villages, and historic and holy sites. Follow their path during a game drive safari or join the Safari Lodge’s resident naturalist and Maasai guides for a late-afternoon walking safari to learn about the animals’ natural habitat.

“These are led by our resident naturalist accompanied by a ranger and Maasai guides,” notes Trevor van de Ven, Senior Director of PR and Communications at the Lodge. “It allows guests to get close to the wilderness, while the Maasai guides impart their knowledge of the trees, birds, animals and animal tracks that guests encounter on their walks.” Conclude your time in the bush with sundowner cocktails and canapés, then return to camp and recharge with a reinvigorating kifa massage using Tanzanian baobab oil and a heated Rungu – a Maasai warrior’s wooden baton.

SEE THE SUMMER STARS IN THE SONORAN DESERT

The natural beauty of this oasis is breathtaking, with sunlit vistas of saguaro cacti, dramatic valleys and iconic Pinnacle Peak. But for some of the area’s most captivating sights, you’ll have to look to the night skies. Uncover the secrets and enormity of the cosmos with Mark Johnston, a NASA Solar System Ambassador and resident astronomer at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North, during a guided tour of the stars using his high-powered telescope and viewing screen.

Summer’s clear, dry nights offer optimal viewing of planets, star clusters, double stars, galaxies and more. “Scottsdale’s low light pollution means the stargazing is stunning, especially in summer,” says Director of Rooms Toshihiko Yoshimura. “It’s a great activity for the entire family, and the perfect end to a summer day spent hiking or relaxing poolside.”

A Meal to Remember: Luxury Dining with Four Seasons

An extraordinary meal endures in our memory, not only for the artful cuisine but also for the experience around it. When we take our seat at the table with friends or loved ones, time slows down: We’re fully present, together, in the moment, with all our senses engaged.

Fans of award-winning fine dining will feel at home at Four Seasons, whose 25 restaurants with Michelin stars across 20 Four Seasons hotels and resorts have 34 stars and counting – the most of any luxury hospitality brand – and a host of accolades from arbiters of excellence like Black Pearl and Gault&Millau. Along with outstanding cuisine, there’s another important aspect of every meal: the warm, personalized service Four Seasons is known for.

Those looking for fine dining in Hong Kong will find a variety of exceptional cuisine all under one roof. Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong alone holds eight Michelin stars for impeccable French cuisine at Caprice (three stars), Cantonese at Lung King Heen (two), Italian at Noi (two) and Japanese at Sushi Saito (one), while ARGO is honoured on the list of the World’s 50 Best Bars. One of the most celebrated Chinese restaurants anywhere, Lung King Heen shines in dishes like Pineapple Pork Buns, with ingredients personally sourced and inventively prepared by Executive Chinese Chef Chan Yan Tak.

At Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris, Michelin-star dining captivates at modern French Le Cinq (three stars), plant-focused L’Orangerie (two) and Italian-Mediterranean Le George (one). In Le Cinq dishes such as Line-Fished Sea Bass, Executive Chef Christian Le Squer marries elegant and personally meaningful flavours like caviar with buttermilk that nods to his childhood in Brittany. The team’s service, notes Michelin, “is a model of empathy and style that is close to perfection.” And the experience at Le George, which also holds a Michelin green star for its commitment to sustainable gastronomy, extends beyond the dining room: Guests can join Chef Simone Zanoni for a visit to the organic kitchen garden in Versailles, followed by a private cooking class, taking fine dining in Paris to new experiential heights.

While legends like Le Cinq have been celebrated for decades, even the newest Four Seasons restaurants are earning acclaim. Pavyllon London, the debut London restaurant from multi-Michelin-award-winning Chef Yannick Alléno set within Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane, has also received its first star just six months after opening in July 2023. Chef Alléno and his world-class kitchen team have drawn inspiration from seasonal British produce as well as a passion for innovative French cuisine to create “an interactive, less formal, neighbourhood dining experience centred around countertop seating and great food,” just as Alléno intended.

Set within a working vineyard, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley is an immersive culinary experience in and of itself, and its Auro restaurant was awarded a Michelin star within a year of opening, as well as a “Wine Spectator” Best of Award of Excellence. Executive Chef Rogelio Garcia draws from seasonal and personal inspirations to develop dishes like Dry-Aged Shima Aji, a flower-shaped creation that entices the eyes and the palate with its bright citrus, spicy and salty flavours. Guests can also enjoy wine dinner series, harvest festivities and other special events. Here, though, as at all Four Seasons restaurants, coming together over unforgettable food and drink can become its own kind of special occasion.
