    Friends of Pelagos welcome Maxime Gilbert from ÉCRITURE, Hong Kong

    Chef Luca Piscazzi reunites with French maestro, Maxime Gilbert, for a showcase that alternates between the two former colleagues. Named “South China Morning Post” Chef of the Year 2021–2022, Gilbert was Picazzi’s former culinary partner at two-Michelin-starred Amber at The Landmark, Mandarin Oriental (2015–2016). He then went on to found ÉCRITURE Hong Kong, a French fine-dining phenomenon that received two Michelin stars in its first eight months of opening. For two nights only, the Piscazzi-Gilbert menu showcases the duo’s artistry. Priced at EUR 145 per person (eight-course menu), it’s an homage to creative friendship not to be missed.

    Valentine’s Day at Pelagos

    How better to celebrate the official day of love than with a six-course Valentine’s Day menu at a restaurant that earned a Michelin star within six months of opening and a place on the 50 Best Discovery List 2022? Feast on romantic views of the Athens Riviera alongside Pelagos dishes such as the exclusive new Ossetra Caviar Spaghetti and Creekstone Beef Bourguignon. The evening is brought to a sweet conclusion with Chocolate Soufflé with Metaxa Ice Cream to share. EUR 125 per person with a glass of rosé champagne each.

Low-key yet an innovative thinker who enjoys experimenting, he is invested in bringing out the rich flavours, subtle aromas and varied textures of seasonal ingredients while ensuring guests can immediately recognize what is on their plates.

He has nine years of restaurant management experience on three different continents, including Europe, South America, Asia and others. Cedric feels his most important role is encouraging positive thinking and spreading happiness among his team to make guests feel at home and create long-lasting memories and relationships.
