Plan for at least an entire day at Explorer Island – it’s packed with family-friendly features that all ages will love. Start with the Family Pool, Splash Zone, Lazy River and The Drop, then dry out over a game of volleyball, shoot hoops or get your gaming fix at The Hideout. Our award-winning Kids For All Seasons program is also based here.

The Resort facilities, including all pools, Explorer Island water park and Kids For All Seasons are reserved exclusively for registered Resort guests. Four Seasons Private Residents and Four Seasons Golf and Sports Club members enjoy pool access on select dates.

    The Hideout

    Located on Explorer Island behind the Splash Zone, The Hideout is a fun spot for kids to hang out with friends, play their favourite video games and more. With such activities as billiards, interactive touch-screen tables and the latest in gaming, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Please note, children under 12 years old must be supervised.

    Mix it up at The Mansion with outdoor table tennis, pool tables, a fireplace and an observation deck that lets you take in the excitement.

    Explorer Island Takeover

    Kids will love Saturday nights at the Resort as Kids For All Seasons hosts Explorer Island Takeover from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm, which includes dinner and a special swimshirt to take home. Reservations are $75 per child and must be made in advance by calling +1 (407) 313-6868.

    Family Pool

    This 7,590-square-foot (705-square-metre) pool overlooks the lake and offers a gradually sloping beach entry that is perfect for young swimmers. Listen to your favourite tunes on the underwater audio system.

    Indulge in our tranquil, adults-only pool, featuring a wide array of sophisticated elements designed to heighten your relaxation. Go for a swim listening to underwater music, then enjoy a soak in the whirlpool as you gaze onto our sparkling lake.

    Splash Zone

    Play among columns of the choreographed, interactive fountain as it launches blasts of water 30 feet (9 metres) into the air. Let your imagination soar with elements that include tall, ruined columns from The Mansion with curtains of water, fog nozzles and other special features.

    Lazy River

    Not your average lazy river, our lazy river has been outfitted with two spray cannons, a cascading 9-foot (2.75-metre) waterfall and a frothing, bubbling rapids section, offering incredible fun for both kids and kids-at-heart.

    The Drop

    Swoop down from the Mansion’s main tower in two 242-foot (73.76-metre) water slides. One slide is open-air for a thrilling ride with a big splash at the end, and the other is made from see-through fibreglass so you can watch all the fun, inside and out. All guests must meet the minimum height requirement of 42 inches (106.68 centimetres) to ride.
