Nestled amid verdant rice fields and mist-clad mountains beyond, KHAO by Four Seasons presents an exceptional dining experience. This culinary journey, meticulously designed by our chefs, takes you deep into the vibrant culture of Northern Thailand, with delightful detours into Burmese and Yunanese cuisine.
The menu seamlessly blends timeless tradition with contemporary flair. Our talented chefs have drawn from treasured heirloom recipes, creatively reimagining them in ways that will surprise and engage your palate. Explore the carefully-crafted selection to find your favourites – from Yam Pla Fu (a northern delicacy of crispy local catfish and tangerine), to Maw Din (tender pork and vegetables, slowly simmered in an earthenware pot), to Goong Mae Narm Yang (grilled giant river prawns, procured from local hill tribes, with seaweed caviar).
Continue your sojourn with KHAO’s homegrown, paddy-inspired design, which evokes the idyllic spirit of the countryside. Open daily for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner, with intriguingly varied menus for different mealtimes, there is never a dull moment. At KHAO by Four Seasons, we believe that every meal holds the promise of the extraordinary.
The Spirit of the Rice Fields
Customized beverages are a cornerstone of the experience at KHAO by Four Seasons. Your Afternoon Tea is enhanced with forest-grown delicate blends of tea and coffee, sourced from the hills of Northern Thailand. Enjoy the ‘The Spirit of The Rice Fields,’ made from organic jasmine and glutinous white and purple rice exclusively for the restaurant.
The locally-grown ingredients are handcrafted in the style of a vodka and distilled in copper pot stills at a micro-distillery in Mae Rim. Cocktail connoisseurs, meanwhile, will love our signature D Martini (infused with a rice-based spirit) and Mon Cham, designed by world-renowned master mixologist, Javier de las Muelas, and inspired by the beautiful rice paddies.
