Now in its 11th year, HI Sessions is a staple on the Hawaiian music scene, featuring more than 139 acclaimed musicians. Each month, HI Sessions hosts a live recording session with a special musical guest.
ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE: Haunani Hess
Four Seasons Resort O‘ahu at Ko Olina welcomes Haunani Hess, a self-taught Native Hawaiian visual artist, as our newest Artist-in-Residence. Hess draws inspiration from Hawaii’s natural beauty, textile patterns and subconscious expression, incorporating a dynamic fusion of mediums. The Artist-in-Residence program, which launched in 2017, is a fine art gallery exhibition that celebrates Hawaii’s vibrant and diverse art scene.

- Ma’ili Pill Box Hike
- Embark on a short hike to “The Pink Pillbox,” located just 20 minutes from the Resort. Learn the history of Oahu’s “West Side” while taking in the sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, Leeward coastline and Mount Ka`ala. Every Tuesday, 8:00–11:00 am & Every Saturday, 4:00–7:00 pm

Experience Oahu's North Shore culture. From iconic surf breaks at Pipeline, Sunset Beach and Waimea Bay to Haleiwa's delicious shrimp trucks, it's the charming communities that define this essential Hawaiian destination.
While on the North Shore, stop by Waimea Bay to witness this legendary beach and surf break, with waves averaging around 40 to 50 feet in winter months. Across from Waimea Bay is Waimea Valley and Falls Park, a lush botanical garden filled with diverse flora and fauna. Follow the well-marked trail that leads you to Waimea Falls.
In the evening, relax and recap the day with a delicious family-style meal at the Resort’s Mina's Fish House. Make sure to meet our Fish Sommelier and inquire about fish pairings.
Start the day with your family by renting complimentary paddleboards for an early morning SUP adventure in our Ko Olina lagoon.
Within a half-hour drive from our Resort, Bishop Museum is Hawaii's cultural treasure trove, offering a deep dive into culture, history, art and natural heritage of our islands and throughout the Pacific.
Another option is to visit 'Iolani Palace, the only royal palace on American soil. It was once the residence of Hawaiian monarchs, beautifully restored to its former grandeur. Explore Oahu's beautiful landscape with a self-guided hike to Manoa Falls or a guided hike to the Ma'ili Pillbox through Four Seasons. Manoa Falls Hike is a lush and scenic trail through the deep valley of Manoa. This easy-to-moderate hike will immerse your family in a verdant rainforest, culminating in the sight and sound of a majestic 150-foot waterfall. Another option is a guided morning or sunset hike to Ma'ili Pillbox along Oahu's western coast for stunning, unobstructed views of the coastline.
After an adventurous day exploring the island, retreat to a meditative state with the weekly Mu Hala Sound Journey, offered in the afternoons. The sound journey is a wonderful experience for both children and adults to relax, destress and shift one's energy.
In the morning, join a #FSWayfinders workshop and discover your inner artist. The workshops include lei making, Resin painting, lauhala weaving and more.
The South Shore of Oahu is home to Hawaii's capitol city of Honolulu, famous Waikiki Beach, historical Iolani Palace, world-class shopping and award-winning dining experiences. Spend a day hopping from museums to restaurants or soak up the sun on an early hike to the top of Diamond Head.
After exploring Waikiki, make time for a soak to explore the underwater world teeming with marine life at Hanauma Bay, a protected marine preserve that offers a haven for both beginner and advanced snorkellers with its vibrant coral reef and diverse marine ecosystem.
The windward side of Oahu is a captivating paradise where nature's grandeur takes centre stage. Drive along the coastline where sprawling green cliffs dramatically tower over electric blue waters, and where easy-country living thrives, inviting you to soak up the beauty of our island. Take on an adventure through Jurassic-like valleys at Kualoa Ranch, a 4000-acre working cattle ranch, spread from the steep mountain cliffs to the sea. It is truly a paradise for outdoor recreation with many areas accessible only by horseback, all-terrain vehicle (ATV/UTV), or by hiking.
