Your secret hideaway Relax into your natural rhythm
Within a natural reserve spanning 1,214 hectares (3,000 acres), Four Seasons is nestled on a private peninsula, featuring 3 kilometres (2 miles) of shoreline and three private beaches.
AN UNDISCOVERED NATURAL RESERVE
Named after the only tamarind tree found in this vast nature sanctuary, Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo welcomes you to a striking landscape of awe-inspiring cliffs, verdant jungle and virgin beaches. Set on the peninsula’s coastal ridge, the Resort features a dramatic 200-metre (656-foot) cliff descending to the beachfront below. Reflecting a deep respect for the environment, only 2% of the reserve will be developed and no structures will be built on the beach, giving a pure experience of this natural utopia.
Play on pristine beaches This is where peace of mind awaits
We are excited to introduce our fourth destination in Mexico, immersing guests in the natural beauty of the Costalegre and the warmth of its amazing people.

- FEEL AT ONE WITH NATURE
Create your own connection to this natural reserve with back-to-nature activities – both on the peninsula and in the nearby seascape. Go mountain biking on jungle trails. Kayak along the peninsula’s shoreline. Head out deep-sea fishing from our own dock, or let us show you the best surfing spots near La Manzanilla and Barra de Navidad.
- TOUR THE NEARBY MANGROVE
Let our expert Four Seasons guides introduce you to the nearby mangrove, a wetland ecosystem where freshwater rivers empty into the ocean. This unique habitat attracts a rich array of wildlife, including rare birds, iguanas and crocodiles.
- EXPLORE THE TOWN OF LA MANZANILLA
Just 15 minutes away, La Manzanilla is a small beach town with about 2,000 residents. Experience the Friday Street Market in the town square, try the beachfront palapa restaurants, or take a side trip to discover a century-old shade-grown coffee plantation run by a women’s cooperative.
