Connecting RoomsA perfect choice for multigenerational families, two families or groups travelling together to go back and forth between two or more rooms without using the hallway. Our connecting rooms are available in our Deluxe Room, Premier Room, Premier Room – Garden View, Premier Room - Kyoto View, Four Seasons Room or Four Seasons Executive Suite categories and offer more comfort by adding extra space, privacy and convenience.
SELF-MEDITATION JOURNEYThose staying in our residential suites with balconies receive Zazen self-meditation kits upon request. Designed by a Zen monk from Kennin-ji Temple in Gion, each kit contains a journey of serenity. Begin by lighting the natural incense stick from Shoyeido, a traditional incense-maker based in Kyoto. Allow the fragrance of green grass to gently refresh the spirit, then ring the orin bell three times to calm the mind with its clear tones.
