An immersive opening night features live chef stations hosted by the guest chefs alongside our Resort’s culinary team. Highlights include Catrina hostesses and stilt walkers, a face-painting station for guests and a live band.- Tertulia Night at Dos Catrinas | 6:30 pm – 10:00 pmThe weekend’s signature evening presents an elegant four-course plated dinner led by the all-female guest chef lineup, honouring Mexican cuisine and storytelling through food. Designed as a conversation around the table, the dinner invites you to discover not only the flavours of each dish, but also the people, places and traditions behind it. Live mariachi accompanies the meal. Following dinner, the night continues at MEZ Bar with a DJ, a live saxophonist and specialty cocktails.All-female chef lineup:
- Chef Lula Martín del Campo: Named Chef of the Year for 2024 by Guía México Gastronómico and for 2025 by Food and Travel México, Chef Lula leads Cascabel in Mexico City’s Santa Fe district – where her “Culinary Heritage of Mexico“ menu builds dishes around corn, beans and chile to spotlight native ingredients at risk of disappearing – and Marea in Roma Norte, a seafood, corn and mezcal concept developed with architect Alberto Kalach.
- Chef Yesenia Ríos: Chef Yesenia, trained at Dos Cielos in Barcelona and Alcalde in Guadalajara before returning to her native Tijuana to develop menus and train kitchen teams across Mexico and the United States, sees cooking as a way of preserving memory and sharing the identity of a place through its ingredients.
