Conservation Program
The Sea Turtle Conservancy (STC), established in 1959, is the world’s oldest organization dedicated to the conservation of sea turtles and their habitats. For almost 20 years, STC has partnered with our Resort and the Nevis Turtle Group (NTG) to protect endangered sea turtles that nest on the beaches in Nevis. This collaboration offers guests opportunities to engage in conservation efforts, such as nightly beach walks to observe nesting turtles and attending educational sessions during Sea Turtle Week. These initiatives not only contribute to the long-term protection and recovery of these creatures.

Sea Turtle ReleaseJoin us for the release of adult hawksbill turtles, each fitted with a tracker to monitor their nesting locations and migration distances throughout the season. This experience offers a meaningful connection to the wildlife in Nevis and supports vital conservation efforts to protect these endangered sea turtles.
Sea Turtle Adoption KitsAdopt an endangered sea turtle with our E-Gift Adopt-A-Turtle Membership and support the Sea Turtle Conservancy’s work in research, education and protecting turtle habitats. It’s an impactful way to help these amazing creatures.
Tour De TurtlesSince 2008, the Tour de Turtles has tracked sea turtles on their epic migration journeys using satellite technology. This fun “marathon” race raises awareness about turtle conservation and lets you support the sea turtles as they travel from nesting beaches to feeding grounds. It’s a powerful reminder that protecting sea turtles is a marathon, not a sprint.
