We recommend visiting Isola Bella in the early morning to mid-morning. Because of the beach’s position below Taormina, the morning provides the best direct sunlight and calmer waters while allowing you to avoid the heavier crowds that typically arrive in the afternoon.
The shoulder-season months of May, June, September and October are widely considered the best times for a Sicily honeymoon. During these months, you’ll experience mild, comfortable weather ideal for coastal excursions and town exploration and reduced tourist foot traffic compared to the peak summer months of July and August.
