At the foot of the Mont d’Arbois slopes – just a short distance from the ski lifts – experience classic Alpine charm in our winter-only Four Seasons retreat. Five minutes from the heart of Megève, these three traditional wooden chalets reflect the rich heritage of the Rothschild family, who established the town as a ski destination a century ago. Enhance your stay with Michelin-starred dining at Prima restaurant, swimming in our indoor-outdoor pool and organic Bamford spa treatments. Accommodations

Choose your perfect setting

  • GUEST ROOMS AND SUITES

Located in all three chalets, our guest rooms and suites – including one, two and three bedrooms – offer cosy, wood-panelled warmth that’s perfect after a day on the slopes. Many include a balcony or terrace, and some suites feature a fireplace.

  • SUITE IDÉAL

For the height of Megève experiences – and guaranteed first ski tracks each morning – choose the three-bedroom Suite Idéal, located at the summit of Mont d’Arbois and only accessible by the ski lifts or Polaris off-road vehicle.

  • CHALET ALICE

Upon request, Chalet Alice can be privatized to provide an exclusive home base for up to 22 people. Built in 2005 and recently refurbished with a chic Bohemian flair, this chalet is self-contained with its own kitchen, dining room and a large lounge with fireplace. For private relaxation, you even have your own exclusive spa with two treatment rooms and a steam bath.

  • CHALET NOÉMIE

Make this intimate chalet all your own, by special request. Built in 1927, this renovated vintage residence can accommodate up to 28 people – ideal for multi-generational families or a large group of friends who want extra privacy and independence.

ROTHSCHILD FAMILY LEGACY

Just after World War I, Baroness Noémie de Rothschild had the vision to establish a new ski resort in the French Alps – inspired by St. Moritz in Switzerland. She fell in love with the panoramic views from the Mont d’Arbois plateau, set above the 13th-century village of Megève. It was here she built the family’s first hotel in 1926.

My daughters – Eve, Noémie, Alice and Olivia – all have very distinct personalities and definitely strong characters. In a similar way, Les Chalets du Mont d’Arbois also have their own special character and design.
