Food & Beverage
- Food waste is transferred to biomass fuel and fertilizer
- Plastic-free coffee capsules, recycled regularly
- Source coffee from a sustainable coffee brand, which has a fund that sets out to support the constructive progression of coffee farming communities
- Non-plastic straws used in all outlets
- Reusable/recyclable coasters used in all outlets
- Cooking oil is returned to the supplier to be turned into biofuel
- Linen-less tables as standard in all dining outlets
- Locally sourced food
- Endangered species banned from all menus
Guest Rooms
- An opt-in linen program, reducing water usage
- Plastic-free coffee capsules, recycled regularly
- In-room motion sensors to shut off electrical appliances and lighting after 20 minutes of non-use
Energy Conservation, Recycling & Charity
- Regular recycling – cardboard, glass and mixed recycling
- General waste is used to produce energy and not sent to landfill
- Used toner cartridges are sent to a charity to be recycled into new cartridges
- Hold stock of common items centrally to limit waste and avoid multiple deliveries to help reduce vehicle movement
- Stock beer that gives profits to RAF benevolent fund; the charity has local presence with the RAF Club and memorial in the Mayfair area
- All first aid supplies purchased from a zero-profit charity
