Executive Chef

Chef Michael’s style is known for uncomplicated dishes with robust flavour that reflect light, modern influences. A 25-year veteran of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, he has overseen food and beverage operations that span both coasts, the Pacific Ocean and south of the border. It’s this diverse experience and commitment to excellence that inspire much of his varied regional and international cuisine.

    Welcome “rosé all day” specials this spring. Stop in at PRESS to sip a flight of rosé featuring Le Grand Courtage Rosé Brut sparkling, Belleruche Rosé and Whispering Angel, or at Veranda to sample rosé tea, rosé wine, and rosé-scented sweet and savoury treats.

    Kick off patio weather with the return of the Social Sessions series at PRESS: March 21 – Moet Champagne; April 11 – Volcan Tequila; April 25 – Belvedere Vodka; May 9 – Hennessy; May 23 – Veuve Clicquot. Watch the sunset while enjoying entertainment, passed small plates and complimentary cocktail samples highlighting the weekly featured spirit.

    Able Baker Beer-Pairing Dinner

    Veranda is joining forces with Las Vegas-based Able Baker Brewing Company to host a beer-pairing dinner this May. The evening begins at 6:00 pm with a patio reception, and continues with a five-course tasting menu showcasing Chef de Cuisine Joel Ott’s culinary creativity combined with local craft beer pairings. The cost is $65 per person.
