Chef Topher Strittmatter’s love of cooking began at an early age in his mother’s kitchen, giving him a sense of independence and pride by learning to cook for his family. While studying Political Science at Indiana University, Topher decided to pursue a career in the culinary arts. Topher moved to Austin, Texas, where he graduated from Le Cordon Bleu and began his culinary career in a number of independent restaurants including David Bull’s Second Bar + Kitchen. From there he found his way to Four Seasons Hotel Austin followed by an Executive Chef position at an Italian trattoria located in Texas Hill Country. With Texas cooking and experience under his apron, Topher made his way to the Rocky Mountains and returned to hotels with a position at Four Seasons Resort Vail, followed Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach. The lure of the Tetons brought him to his current role as Executive Sous Chef at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole in 2016. When not in the kitchen he can be found spending time with his dog Hank or exploring the Wyoming wilderness as a big game bow hunter.

The Pool Cafe
During the summer our poolside al-fresco café serves up burgers, sandwiches, salads and refreshing ice-cream floats. In the winter, stop by for complimentary s’mores to enjoy by the fire and our pop-up Champagne igloo, Fahrenheit 47.
