- THE Blvd opens its doors for Christmas Eve Dinner on December 24 from 5:00 pm to 11:00 p.m. The four-course meal by Executive Chef Samir Roonwal for USD 165 per person includes highlights such as Lentil Veloute with caviar and crème fraiche; Gnocchi with brown butter, sage, and garlic chips; Grilled Lamb Chops with smoked eggplant, burnt leeks, and zhoug sauce; and finally, Chocolate Bûche de Noël with butterscotch mousse, black cocoa sponge cake, peppermint ganache, and meringue. - On December 31, 1927, Beverly Wilshire held an exclusive dinner to celebrate its grand opening. Join us this New Year’s Eve to celebrate the final moments of our 90th anniversary and toast to the New Year in style. From 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Executive Chef Samir Roonwal is offering four courses for USD 165, and from 9:00 pm to 12:00 midnight, five courses for USD 300. Highlights include Wild Mushroom Salad with maitake, juniper, and sorrel; Wagyu Beef Tartare with brioche toast, pecorino chips, and truffles; Goat Cheese Tortellini in a saffron cream emulsion; Veal Tenderloin with farro risotto, dates, and a blueberry reduction, and Chocolate 2018 by celebrity chef Chris Ford which features Venezuelan chocolate mousse, devil’s food cake, candied nibs, and caramel. At CUT restaurant, our chef will offer decadent cuts and sides during two seatings: 6:00 pm to 6:45 pm for USD 150+ or 9:00 to 9:45 pm for USD 325+, including a champagne toast to ring in the New Year. - Since 1949, Candy Cane Lane has been an El Segundo tradition where entire blocks of houses light up in an amazing holiday display of lights and decorations. - Kick off the New Year on January 1 with the annual Tournament of Roses Parade at 8:00 am in Pasadena, featuring five-time Olympic medalist Janet Evans as the Grand Marshall. Later in the afternoon, gear up for the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Rose Bowl Game at 1:30 pm.
