BADUANJIN / EIGHT-SECTION BROCADE

This traditional Chinese health-preserving qi gong originated in the Northern Song Dynasty. Composed of eight gentle movements coordinated with breath and mental focus, it regulates qi and blood as well as visceral functions. It was inscribed into the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2011.

Director of spa
Guided by the philosophy that wellness – a feeling, not a word – comes from daily balance of mind and body, Fiona Fu has devoted over a decade to spa leadership. She has pursued multiple professional certifications including Esalen Massage (175 hours), Watsu (150 hours) and Sound Healing. Fu also continues to explore mind-body practices such as biofield tuning, essential oils and meditation. This diverse expertise allows her to offer guests tailored support for physical and mental balance.

Yuki Chen

Assistant SPA Manager
With nearly two decades of global working experience, Yuki Chen is a certified yoga instructor professionally trained at the Swami Vivekananda School in India, specializing in hatha yoga and mindfulness meditation. She has participated in intensive seven-day Zen retreats at Chinese Chan temples, and is skilled in the traditional wellness practice of Baduanjin. Her gentle and professional guidance helps guests regain peace and balance of body and mind.
