Camino Encantado Trail
Explore the on-site Camino Encantado Trail with your dog and take in the scenic surrounding mountain vistas. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.
Santa Fe Plaza
The Santa Fe Plaza is very dog-friendly, allowing leashed dogs in the open-air historic downtown area. Many nearby shops, galleries and restaurants with outdoor patios welcome pets, particularly around the Plaza and nearby Canyon Road. Visitors commonly walk their dogs there, with some establishments offering water bowls.
Santa Fe National Forest
The Santa Fe National Forest is a protected national forest in northern New Mexico located within a short drive of the Santa Fe Plaza. It was established in 1915 and covers nearly 1.6 million acres. Popular dog-friendly trails include the Aspen Vista, Jemez and Nambe Trails.
Pet Policy
- Cats and dogs must be fully trained, vaccinated and comply with local legislation requirements.
- Your pet must be kept on a leash when it is on property unless it is in your room.
- Caring for your pet is your responsibility; please do not leave your pet unattended. If you require a pet-sitter or pet supplies, please contact the Concierge with advance notice, at extension 828. Please note, pet-sitting services will be provided if you request it in advance.
- Please be aware that pets are not allowed in any food and beverage outlets, Spa, Fitness Centre and Pool areas of the property. This exclusion does not apply to guide dogs. Pets are welcomed in the outdoor seating areas of our Terra Restaurant.
- You are responsible for cleaning up after your pet on property and in the neighbourhood.
- Cleaning litter boxes will not be a part of our service.
- Any disturbances such as barking must be curtailed to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced. A charge may be applied to your bill in the event of disturbance to other guest.
