The 2025 festival season runs from June 27 to August 23, 2025. Celebrating its 68th season, this world-renowned opera company continues its legacy of combining exceptional vocal artistry with the beauty of its Sangre de Cristo Mountain open-air venue.
There is no formal dress code – guests are welcome to express their personal style, whether casual or elegant. As the Opera is held in an open-air theatre, we recommend bringing a jacket or blanket for cooler evenings.
Children ages 6 and over are welcome to attend the performances. For a more relaxed introduction to opera, the Santa Fe Opera also hosts select Family Nights, designed with young guests and first-time attendees in mind. Make the most of your visit with a stay at our family-friendly Resort in Santa Fe, offering tailored experiences for all ages.
Evenings may be cool or rainy. Jackets, blankets and umbrellas are encouraged. The temperature can drop 10 to 15 degrees between curtain time and the end of the opera. Guests staying at our Resort near the Santa Fe Opera House can also enjoy the convenience of a quick return to the Resort after the show, where they can cozy up by the fire.

Yes, Opera House tours allow guests to experience the unparalleled natural beauty of the Santa Fe Opera’s setting, its architecture and open-air theatre. Tours are available Monday through Saturday at 9:00 am during June, July and August, and last approximately one hour. The experience involves walking approximately half a mile and ascending or descending several flights of stairs (elevator available).
