Four Seasons Resort Nevis is dedicated to supporting our community and giving back whenever possible. To ensure consistency, we have established a few friendly guidelines for charitable donations.
CHARITABLE DONATION GUIDELINES
- Charitable donation requests must be submitted in writing at least two months prior to the event date or the date the certificate is required. Requests are reviewed on a monthly basis; we kindly ask that you allow sufficient time for our team to complete the review before following up.
- To be considered, all charitable donation requests must meet the following criteria.
Non-Profit Verification
- Organizations must provide official non-profit documentation. In addition, all organizations must include event collateral, such as a PDF flyer, event brochure or a link to the event website.
- For organizations based in Nevis or other international locations:
- A valid NGO Registration Certificate or the officially recognized non-profit verification required in their country
- For U.S.–based organizations:
- A valid 501(c)(3) non-profit determination letter
Official Request Letter
- Requests must be submitted on the organization’s official letterhead and must clearly detail:
- How the donated certificate or funds will be used
- The event date and a description of the event
- A valid email address and physical mailing address for correspondence and fulfillment
Annual Request Limit & Priority Consideration
- Only one request per organization per calendar year will be considered.
- Priority will be given to organizations that support the following focus areas that align with the philanthropic priorities of Four Seasons globally and locally in Nevis:
- Cancer research
- Food security
- Elder care
- Children’s charities (excluding school fundraisers)
Usage Restrictions
- Four Seasons Resort Nevis does not provide donations to be used as:
- Incentives
- Thank-you gifts
- Door prizes
- Entertainment-related giveaways
- Fundraisers that benefit individuals or individual’s families
Donation Fulfillment
- All donations are thoroughly reviewed with an established process. Should a request be approved, formal communication will be sent via email from our Executive Office.
- Most donations are issued as electronic gift certificates, which will be sent to the email address provided. In select cases, physical certificates may be mailed upon request.
