Request a to-go family picnic, then explore one of the area’s wineries that welcomes families. Experience a medieval Italian castle in Calistoga at Castello di Amorosa. With flights of grape juice for the youngest guests, the whole family can sample some of Napa’s famed viticultural products, followed by a tour of their stunning turrets and dungeons.
Calistoga Farmers Market
Just a short stroll from the Resort, the Calistoga Farmers Market is a relaxed way to ease into your Saturday. Browse fresh fruits and vegetables, free-range eggs, local honey, olive oils, herbs and flowers – all sourced from nearby farms. Discover artisan-made goods including baked treats, jams, infused vinegars, teas and cheeses. With live music and a family-friendly atmosphere, it’s a charming start to your Napa Valley weekend. Head to Safari West, a family-friendly safari experience right here in Napa Valley. They offer day tours in their ATVs and Jeeps to get up close and personal with the squawks and roars of the animals.
