Our renovated Kids’ Club offers a wealth of fun and educational activities, from a Lego wall to adventurous nature discoveries. Open daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm for children ages 4 to 12.
- Tuanis Teen Center
Be ready to make new amigos while exploring our range of available activities. Our Teen Center offers a social area outfitted with a 65" TV and armchairs to watch movies; a video game room with gamer seats; and a game area with air hockey, billiards, foosball, a poker table, board games and more. Open daily from 12:00 am to 8:00 pm for guests ages 10 to 18.

Cook with a pro and learn a few culinary secrets to some of our most popular dishes, including Costa Rican ceviche, red snapper wrapped in banana leaf and empanadas, then enjoy eating the fruits of your labour.

Take a coffee journey and discover Costa Rica’s most valuable export with one of our barista instructors. Learn the varieties of coffee and ways to prepare it to enhance its flavour profile, then sample our favourite beans from the country’s eight coffee regions.

- Trail of Giants
Join our resort guide as he takes you on a tour of his “office” – our 18-hole Arnold Palmer–designed golf course. Affectionately known as the Trail of Giants, the course’s signature holes highlight the exceptional views and unique flora and fauna. The course is perfect for family photos or simply a relaxing activity.
- Mangrove Walk
During a walking tour of the mangroves at Nacascolo Beach – one of the calmest beaches of Culebra Bay – our recreation team will discuss the surrounding landscapes, animals and vegetation.
- Sunset Walk
Depart from the lobby with a member of our team who’ll guide you to unmatched views of the sunset while providing some background on the flora and fauna along the way, then head back to the Resort when the sun goes down.
Join our resident naturalist with binoculars and a telescope and be ready to see some of the 150-plus bird species that call the peninsula home. It’s a wonderful opportunity to practice wildlife photography and have fun exploring the aviary world of Peninsula Papagayo.

Our expert dance team gives you an introduction to Latin dances with basic step-by-step instructions and movements of Latin-American rhythms such as salsa, merengue, bachata and cumbia. Perfect for all levels of dancers.

At Playa Blanca, our outdoor sand volleyball court is ready for you to practice your skills while having fun beneath the tropical trees.
- Prieta Hike
Take a walking tour to the Prieta Beach stairs while our team explains the variety of flora and fauna in the surroundings. The route may vary, depending on tide conditions and your activity level.
Adventures by Sea
- Monkey Head Kayak Tour
Join us on a guided kayak tour of the iconic Monkey Head with a water-sports professional, and admire the natural beauty and wildlife of Costa Rica’s waterways from a new perspective. (Must be 16 years old.)
- Coral Snorkelling
Grab some gear and your underwater camera to discover the fascinating clear-blue waters and colourful marine life just off the golden sand of Playa Blanca. (Must be 16 years old.)
- Jícaro SUP Tour
Depart from Blanca Beach with your stand-up paddleboard guide who’ll take you to either Jícaro or Venado beach, depending on the tide, wind and your experience level.
- SUP Tour for Beginners
New to stand-up paddleboarding? Start with a basic explanation on the sand and a brief introduction on how to use a stand-up paddleboard. You’ll have the opportunity to train and develop your skills for SUP while discovering the beauties of Culebra Bay.
