Chef Alessio Pitzalis

Alessio Pitzalis

Executive Sous-Chef
Alessio Pitzalis plays an integral role in the dining scene at our Hotel. Recruited as Executive Sous-Chef in August 2022, Pitzalis jumped right into the renovation of Fresca Café with a reimagined Mediterranean bistro and lounge concept. Chef Pitzalis developed his love for cooking in his youth, and he credits his family for igniting his passion. Growing up on the island of Sardinia, famed for its rugged coastline and cuisine shaped by Mediterranean cultures, he was always surrounded by authentic food at home. He chose the culinary route, driven in part by his desire to travel. Experiencing new cultures has been essential to his success in the industry and here at Fresca.
