Chinese New Year 2026 is celebrated on Tuesday, February 17, and Wednesday, February 18. These dates are gazetted public holidays in Singapore. The festive period, celebrating the Year of the Horse, begins with a reunion dinner buffet on the evening of February 16. While the official holidays last two days, you can enjoy vibrant celebrations, city light displays and festive menus throughout the city from mid-January to early March.
