As a native of neighbouring Indian Ocean island Reunion, Head Chef Olivier Barré holds his passion for fishing close to his heart, having spent much of his youth on the seas in search of the best catch. Now, with him being able to call the island of Desroches his home, he has the chance to frequent some of the world’s best fishing sites on a weekly basis – his favourite place to be. “Being on the sea or next to it does wonders. I can completely relax and focus on what I’m doing.” 

 

Guests may take advantage of Olivier’s fishing knowledge during a stay at Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island by joining him on a deep-sea adventure before returning to the Resort. Guests will then have their catch prepared in the cooking style of their choice before being served poolside at a private family BBQ in one of our our multi-bedroom Residence Villas.
