Gunnar PlanterExecutive Restaurant Chef
Originally from San Diego, Chef Planter began his culinary career at Mille Fleurs under the mentorship of James Beard Award-winning Chef Martin Woesle. Over the next six years Chef Planter rose to Sous Chef at Mille Fleurs and ultimately Executive Sous Chef at the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe while earning his Bachelor of Culinary Science degree from The Art Institutes. At Orafo, he brings his West Coast sensibility to Italian classics alongside his passion for The Bay Area’s bounty of local farmers and purveyors.
