With 14 kilometres (8.7 miles) of beaches to explore, your ocean adventure can begin on land and continue far out into the Indian Ocean with the help of our team of dive instructors, fishing guides and marine educators.

The home of our Blue Safari team of diving and fishing experts, the Castaway Centre is the place to be when it comes to ocean pursuits. Plan your boat trip or outer island excursion, or grab a stand-up paddle board and head for the beach. Prefer dry land? With 15 classified dive sites on your doorstep, take the plunge and submerge yourself into the underwater world. Head to the Castaway Centre to meet with the Blue Safari team who will recommend the best site for you.
Isolated and undisturbed, Desroches Island is a fishing paradise with some of the greatest offshore angling in Seychelles. Rise to the challenge of wahoo, kingfish, tuna, sailfish, marlin and dorado. There are four main types of fishing available: fly fishing, bottom fishing, trolling and deep sea fishing.

If you prefer to stay on dry land, head to the Discovery Centre to walk amongst its display of informational boards so that you can learn all about the marine life and ecology of Desroches Island.Details
- Kayaks and Stand-up Paddle Boards
Visit our Castaway Centre to rent a complimentary kayak or SUP paddle board. The Blue Safari team can assist you with fittings, then you can head directly into the nearby water to see marine life such as rays and turtles swim right below your vessel.
