Get unprecedented access to the UNESCO World Heritage City of Ad’Diriyah and the awe-inspiring cliffs called the the Edge of the World.
Beyond glittering Riyadh, the Arabian Desert holds centuries of legends: Bedouin tales of flowing rivers and ancient cities buried beneath the sands. Now, thanks to an exclusive experience created by Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh at Kingdom Centre, you can enjoy access to the desert’s magnificent natural wonder, the Edge of the World.
During this full-day adventure, you’ll accompany a guide to the historic city of Ad’Diriyah, once the seat of the Saudi royal family and home to a UNESCO World Heritage site. After admiring the 15th-century adobe architecture and touring the colourful market centre of Al Bujairi, you’ll continue to the main attraction, the towering sandstone escarpment known as the Edge of the World. An authority on this dramatic landmark, and the canyons and plains beyond, your guide will point out little-known scenic vistas and explain the geological formations. Spend the rest of the afternoon photographing the canyons below, resting in the shade of your own Bedouin tent or flying high above it all in a microlight aircraft. As the sun begins to set, you’ll descend into a valley dotted with acacia trees and watch the landscape change colour before your eyes.
Experience available October 1 through April 30. Guests must book at least four days in advance. Please contact the Hotel for details.
