Four Seasons Mumbai, by Design

Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai glass tower exterior with trees around entrance, sign

Ancient Orientation

Despite its hyper-modern appearance, our 33-storey glass tower finds inspiration in the ancient Hindu architectural science of Vastu, with our main doorway auspiciously angled toward northeast.

Adapting to the local customs wasn’t an impossible task but essentially another set of requirements to the initial brief that made only one solution possible. So Vastu actually helped in designing the building.
