THE MANTA STORY APP

  • Venture deeper into the underwater secrets of manta rays with the interactive Manta Story app, created by Four Seasons and The Manta Trust and free to download on all iOS and Android devices. Developed by Loopcraft and narrated by David Oakes - British actor, environmentalist and host of the Trees a Crowd podcast – the app takes viewers on a mesmerizing adventure into mantas’ feeding and cleaning rituals, dazzling courtship, pregnancy and birth.

Based on the actual manta ray population studied by Manta Trust Chief Executive and Founder – and former Landaa Giraavaru marine biologist – Guy Stevens and his team in the Baa Atoll UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, users can click through to further facts, test their knowledge with a quiz, make a donation, ‘adopt’ a manta or join the Cyclone – a worldwide community of supporters investing in the conservation of the ocean’s rays, their relatives and their habitats.
