The best waves occur year round for beginners and from April to October for experienced surfers in the Maldives. During peak season (June to September), typical waves range from chest high to once-overhead though rise to up to double-overhead. April and October swells are normally small or medium (and clean); November to March offers small but uncrowded surf.
Kuda Huraa offers an on-site surf school run by professionals from Tropicsurf of Noosa, Australia. With personalized support from two resident coaches, surfers of all levels can enjoy a safe and exciting tailored experience at our Maldives surf resort.
