- Guests can engage in educational tours at local, natural, cultural, historical or heritage sites to learn more about the local community through our Concierge, including the Emerald Necklace Park Conservancy; access to the famed Freedom Trail Revolutionary heritage tour; Fenway Park tours; New England Aquarium tours that focus on ocean sustainability; Beacon Hill, Harvard and North End historical explorations; as well as easy day trips to Salem to study the Salem Witch Trials, Newport to learn about the Gilded Age and Nantucket to discover the history of whaling
- Linen, furniture and equipment donated to the local community through various organizations
- Excess food donated and redistributed to those in need in partnership with Food Rescue US, including to St. Francis House and Women’s Lunch Place, which support unhoused and vulnerable community members in Boston
- Clothing and hygiene products donated to those in need, including Second Chances, Hope and Comfort and Dignity Matters which support unhoused, low-income and vulnerable community members in Massachusetts
- Employees complete annual Human Trafficking Awareness training
- Employees volunteer in the local community, including Massachusetts General Hospital
- Eco-certified cleaning products used
