Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans is committed to our local community, and we strive to give back in a meaningful way as often as possible. Due to the volume of requests we receive, organizations must meet the program guidelines to be considered. All requests are evaluated on an individual basis. Projects of all non-profit organizations are considered for a contribution without regard to race, gender, disability, religion, ethnicity, age or sexual orientation.
Giving guidelines
Charitable donation requests must be received via the online donation request portal at least two months in advance of the event date (or two months in advance of the date by which the certificate is needed). It is not necessary to send separate requests for the Hotel, Spa and dining outlets.
- Requests are reviewed monthly by the Hotel’s Community Relations Committee. All donation requests will be reviewed within two weeks. The requesting organization will be contacted via email, regardless of whether or not the request is granted.
- To be considered, charitable donation requests must meet the following criteria:
a) Proof of 501(c)(3) status must be submitted with the request.
b) Priority will be given to organizations serving the greater New Orleans community, as well as those with a focus on cancer research/treatment, as this is an important company-wide emphasis for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
c) Only one request per organization per calendar year will be considered. A condition of any donation is that no other Four Seasons hotel or resort has been solicited or has offered a donation.
d) Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans does not donate goods or services to be used as incentives, thank-you gifts, door prizes or for entertainment purposes. We do not donate to political organizations or to fundraisers that benefit an individual or an individual family.
