At Home on the Mexican Riviera
At Four Seasons Private Residences Los Cabos at Costa Palmas, daily rhythms revolve around the luxury marina, a picturesque beach, and your exquisitely appointed waterfront home.
Four Seasons Private Residences Los Cabos at Costa Palmas, the first Four Seasons marina resort in the world, sits on the storied East Cape of Mexico’s Baja California Sur. Here, the Sea of Cortez sets each day’s cadence. Nestled at the edge of a protected cove, the collection of homes serves as an ideal home base for a host of nautical adventures, from early morning fishing expeditions and afternoon diving excursions to sunset cruises.
Each residence is sited to take advantage of views of the untouched coastline, the luxury marina, or the Robert Trent Jones II-designed Costa Palmas Golf Course, which is framed by the majestic Sierra de la Laguna mountain range. Guided by the area’s vast natural beauty, the understated modern architecture blends in with the environment. “Arriving home feels like a choreographed celebration of nature and architecture, of grand living spaces and stunning water views,” says Brendan Guerin of Guerin Glass Architects.
The exteriors of the homes are rendered in stucco, both textured and smooth, for a desert-like aesthetic that suits the landscape, while floor-to-ceiling windows and ample outdoor spaces spotlight water views and offer a seamless indoor-outdoor connection. The airy interiors by Irongate draw on a soothing palette of rich oak, warm plaster, and creamy travertine.
Beachfront Casitas and Residences front almost two miles of swimmable beach, which means that residents can step off their patio and sink their toes into the soft white sand. Beach Club Casitas, many of which overlook the 18-hole golf course, are near the owners-only Beach Club. Marina Residences are located in the heart of the full-service luxury marina, which accommodates all manner of sea vessels, from Sunfish sailboats to large yachts. Owners of a custom-built Marina Villa or Beachfront Yacht Villa have access to a private dock for their boat. Known as the “the world’s aquarium,” the Sea of Cortez is ideal for yachting, sportfishing, and diving.
A short stroll (five to 15 minutes depending on the home’s location) takes residents to Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos at Costa Palmas, where they can enjoy Baja flavours in the shade of lemon trees at Limón, work out with ocean views at the fitness centre, or unwind with a soothing massage that utilizes hot obsidian stones at the spa. And just a boat or water-taxi ride away is the Marina Village, the lively hub of Costa Palmas. Lined with restaurants, cafés, boutiques, bars, and day clubs, it brings together locals and visitors of all ages. Highlights include chef Nancy Silverton’s Italian-inspired Mozza Baja, and Chiki, a glamorous nightclub designed by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio.
Costa Palmas is truly its own exquisite ecosystem, where residents can travel from their beautiful residence to their personal boat to the bustling Marina Village in a matter of minutes. With its mix of Mexican culture, nautical pursuits, and resort lifestyle, this one-of-a-kind luxury community is a premier destination for marina-based living.
