What kind of guest travels on your journey?

Our like-minded guests come from all around the world. Our journeys appeal to cultured, well-travelled people seeking unique travel experiences that would not be possible to arrange on your own. Many of our guests become close friends and remain in touch long after returning home from the journey. The majority of our travellers are English-speaking, but for non-English speakers, translators can be arranged at each destination for an additional fee.

What kinds of activities can I expect?

Our journeys are carefully curated to feature unique and inspiring experiences that highlight local culture, history, cuisine, active options and meaningful connections with people and places. In each destination, you will be able to choose from a range of planned excursions and customize your experience based on your interests. From heli-flightseeing over the volcanoes in Kona to a hands-on Thai cooking class in Chiang Mai, there are many opportunities to personalize your trip of a lifetime. Your Guest Services Manager will be available to assist you in choosing your sightseeing activities approximately five months prior to departure, but you will also have the freedom and flexibility to change your selections during the journey with the help of the Journey Concierge.

Are there arrangements for solo travellers?

We welcome solo travellers and often have them on our journeys. Our trips provide equal accommodations and experiences for both solo travellers and those travelling with companions. Our journeys are popular with solo guests for a number of reasons, including our style of small group touring which allows for the feeling of traveling with others, our highly customizable experience, the opportunity to meet other like-minded travellers, and our dedicated Journey Team who can help you craft your perfect itinerary on the ground. Are children allowed?

Most of our journeys are designed with adults in mind, with full and diverse itineraries crossing multiple time zones, touring and more that may not be appealing to younger travellers. If you would like to travel with children on these trips, we recommend that you consider only well-travelled, older (12-plus) children. For those who are interested in travelling with younger children, we do offer select family-friendly journeys. Please contact our Guest Relations team to inquire about family trips and discuss the specifics.

What is not included in the cost?

The program does not include: airfare to and from your home city; passport and visa fees; personal expenses such as laundry or telephone charges, optional additional activities, such as golf fees, spa services not covered by resort credits, private cars and drivers and private touring beyond the activities on the itinerary. It also does not include top-shelf liquor, premium bottles of wine, and snacks consumed outside of our flights on the Private Jet and regular daily meals.
