COLONIAL CHARM WITH AVANT-GARDE STYLE

The design vision of Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Cartagena was developed by a carefully selected group of experts, ensuring each element contributes to the project’s distinct identity. The timeless interiors were shaped by internationally renowned designer François Catroux. The look seamlessly merges Spanish Colonial charm with avant-garde attitude, creating a one-of-a-kind contemporary style. With warm woods and eclectic elegance, the atmosphere is distinctly residential, feeling like a home away from home. Many of the individual pieces – from rugs to headboards and stone consoles – were created by Poli Mallarino, a pioneer in the development of industrial design in Colombia. The artwork and frames are by Colombian artist Miguel Cárdenas. Each detail of our Cartagena hotel rooms and suites is an authentic tribute to the country’s heritage and craftsmanship.

Carefully selected tropical plants and trees weave throughout the property, linking different areas with a seamless flow of greenery. The multi-level patios offer both visual appeal and functional charm, creating serene retreats for guests to explore. More than just ornamental, the gardens enhance the overall atmosphere, offering a peaceful oasis where you can fully embrace the soothing, tropical climate. The gardens reflect Cartagena’s identity while enriching the sense of place and the connection to nature.
