889 YOGA – classes

    In our commitment to providing the best spa experience in the city, the Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Toronto offers an exclusive yoga and Pilates program from the experts at 889 Yoga, right here in the Spa. Open to Hotel guests and residents as well as our Toronto community, the 889 Yoga + Pilates experience includes daily classes (with a minimum three-class purchase), Specialty Sundays classes and private instruction, all designed to leave you feeling light, refreshed, clear and full of “zenergy.”

DETAILS

Classes are pre-sold in a trial three-class pack (CDN 45 plus tax),  a two-pack (CDN 60 plus taxes), or ten-pack (CDN 250 plus taxes) that may be used for any scheduled classes (excludes Specialty Sundays and private yoga classes). All participants must reserve their spot in any class by calling +1 (416) 963-6009. The trial pack expires 90 days after purchase, while the two- and ten-packs expire 6 months from their purchase date.

Pre-registered guests will check-in on the ninth floor with Spa Reception prior to each class, and will have access to locker rooms, personal amenities and the steam room.

SLOW FLOW YOGA

  • More than just a yoga class, this is a slow, deep and soulful experience. Enjoy gentle vinyasa flow yoga with long, juicy holds and a deep release in your body. Taught to a playlist of soothing tunes, this class will leave you feeling rested and nourished. Absolutely divine. Perfect for those who want to move slower, or who are newer to yoga.

TENSION MELT YIN YOGA

  • This gentle but deep class focuses on stretching the connective tissues (ligaments, tendons and myofascia) in the hips, hamstrings, spine and shoulders. Yin Yoga is a great way to let go of unnecessary accumulated tension brought on by sitting in the office, or sport-induced tightness and discomfort (we're looking at you, runners and cyclists!). Free up stagnation, open your foundation and experience spaciousness and ease throughout your whole body, breath and heart.

PILATES

  • Take your core to a whole new level! Pilates works your deep abdominal muscles, which support your spine. This is essential for strength and flexibility. For yogis and those who exercise regularly, Pilates is a powerful accompaniment that improves the breath, joint health and core strength and stability. It is also highly effective for chronic back pain. Be in the best hands with 889’s top-notch, highly skilled instructors and expect to feel muscles you never knew existed! Classes are performed on a mat.

RELAX + REJUVENATE

  • Nourish your body and soul during this all-levels class, which begins with a dynamic and invigorating vinyasa flow yoga practice and ends with balancing and blissful restorative yoga postures supported with big fluffy props. Yummy!

Policies

Due to the exclusive nature of these classes, all participants must reserve their spot in advance by calling the Spa at +1 (416) 963-6009. All Yoga + Pilates classes and packages are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Four hours’ notice is required to cancel out of a single class. Missed classes may not be carried over. Private yoga and Pilates classes must be booked at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations for private classes and Specialty Sundays must be made at least 48 hours in advance or a late-cancellation fee will apply.
