  • Herb hiking tour – bush medicine

    On this tour you will explore Upper Rawlins and learn from our guide Michael about the bush medicine that his mother, grandmother and great-grandmother used to rid themselves of ailments such as aches, sores, colds, rheumatism, high and low blood pressure, diabetes and infections.

  • Sunset tour – monkey excursion

    Join Lemuel and Paulette Pemberton on a casual afternoon stroll to see the vervet – or green – monkeys of Nevis in their natural forest habitat. See them scamper across the paths and trails in search of food or cavort on the ground in scenes of real abandon. Learn about the history of Nevis and the traditional and medicinal uses of the plants that proliferate along the trails. Enjoy stunning views down to the coastal plain and across the sea to the islands of Redonda, Montserrat and Antigua. Tours start at 4:00 pm in the Gingerland area in the cool shadow of Nevis Peak.

  • Sunrise tour – Source Trail rainforest hike

    Experience a moderately challenging hike through lush forest to an ideal spot for panoramic island views. On this tour, you will hike by two tropical ravines and into a cave, and be introduced to the flora and fauna of the island, including bamboo and fruit trees such as banana, citrus, mango and guava.

  • Rainforest and ruins hike

    Hike with Lynnell into the rainforest and coconut plantations on the slopes of Nevis Peak. Along the way you'll experience the beauty and tranquility of a cool, luxuriant tropical ravine with massive volcanic boulders worn smooth by a millennium’s rainfall, as well as majestic trees and lush tropical plants such as heliconia, elephant-ear ferns and bamboo. Explore long-lost remains evocative of the time when Nevis truly was "Queen of the Caribbees." This moderate-level hike is an excellent way to explore what makes Nevis unique.

  • Golden Rock nature trail

    Head to scenic Golden Rock nature trail for a moderate hike that highlights the flora of Nevis, with a special focus on the plants' local and medicinal uses. Enjoy the ruins as you walk along the grounds of this 18th-century sugar plantation, converted to a hotel that is still in operation today.

  • Saddle Hill hike

    Enjoy a leisurely hike with Lynnell to Saddle Hill, at an elevation of 381 metres (1,250 feet). Learn about traditional ways of life and the medicinal plants along the trail. Also see views of our own cloud-covered Nevis Peak, St. Kitts, Redonda, Antigua and the active volcano on Montserrat. If you’re lucky, you may see our shy vervet monkeys. Stand on the rock where Horatio Nelson stood to signal the ships in English Harbour in Antigua. Walk along the ruins of the walls of the Saddle Hill Battery, where Lord Nelson was stationed. You can also see the Port of St. George, where the British shipped out sugar, molasses, rum and cotton, supporting Nevis' economy for many years.

  • Butler's Source hike

    Join our guide Lynnell on this moderately challenging hike to the Butler’s Source. Along the route, see the Prison Farm, better known as Russell’s Rest, and learn about its true origin. Explore lush tropical rainforest, enchanting ravines and haunted areas, and enjoy breathtaking vistas of the Atlantic Ocean. View the flora and fauna, including monkeys, cocoa trees and variety of fruits.

  • Historic city tour

    Walk leisurely with Lynnell along scenic Charlestown, originally founded around 1600 as a red brick schoolhouse. This city is the centre of Nevis' commercial activity. View and learn about its significant historic sites, bustling public market and grand architectural buildings. Warm and friendly people make it a uniquely inviting place to walk around. Tours run from Sunday to Friday, from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm daily.

  • Island discovery tour

    Join our guide Reggie Douglas – two-time Nevis Sportsman of the Year, four-time OECS triathalon champion and four-time national cycling champion – for a ride back in time. Riding a top-of-the-line multi-geared bike, you'll explore the old cane trails and village paths that criss-cross this beautiful island. At a leisurely pace, the tour visits the villages of Newcastle, Camps and Fountain. During breaks, you'll learn the history of the Nisbet Plantation, Garner's Estate and the golden era when sugar was king. This tour is suitable for all ages and ability levels. Tours leave from Oualie beach and include a guide, refreshments, use of a bike and helmet and a water bottle.

  • History and heritage tour

    Departing from the Hotel, this tour heads into Charlestown via the Big Rock and through the back roads of the town over to Pump Road. Stops are made at the Lord Nelson Museum, the Bath Hotel and the hot springs before you'll head into Charlestown centre to see classic Caribbean architecture. The group will then ride out along the bayfront and stop for refreshments before visiting the Alexander Hamilton Museum and birthplace. This tour includes a guide, refreshments, use of a bike and helmet and a water bottle.

  • Morning wake-up ride

    Join our guide Reggie for a pre-breakfast workout. This ride takes you through downtown Charlestown, continuing on to Bath village, the Old Bath Hotel and the hot springs, then past the Lord Nelson Museum and out towards the Long Point roundabout. Taking the bypass road around the back of Charlestown, you'll see a lovely view of the harbour before descending to the main island road back to the Resort. The tour departs from the Resort and includes a guide, use of a bike and helmet and a water bottle.

  • Hike and bike tour

    Enjoy spectacular views of the southeast peninsula of St. Kitts and explore Nevis' history on a gentle hike on the slopes of Nevis Peak. After a short break and some light refreshments, get on a bike for the casually paced descent. Enjoy exceptional views at a pace that allows plenty of opportunity to take photos, ask questions and experience the undisturbed beauty of this Caribbean gem. This tour is tailored to suite the group. It departs from Cottle Church and includes a guide, refreshments, use of a bike and helmet and a water bottle.
