Wellness Kitchen
Cooking class
Fresh, nutritious food and fine dining come together in the Wellness Kitchen. Led by registered dietitian chefs, our nutrition lessons and cooking classes offer practical help with selecting, preparing and enjoying simple and delicious meals made using super foods that improve health and increase longevity. The two-hour interactive classes of up to 12 people are a hands-on experience. You will first learn about nutrition and the philosophy of the kitchen. Participants will then don their aprons to cook before sitting down to enjoy a nutritious meal. Classes are offered for lunch or dinner on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, with rotating schedule and menus. Prices include class, meal, apron and recipes.

Posture and movement assessment
A computer-based evaluation and the expertise of fitness professionals are used to identify musculoskeletal imbalances. A corrective exercise programme is then recommended to restore balance, posture and function.
Body composition (BOD POD)
Weight on the scale merely reflects a quantity. The BOD POD measures the quality of a person's weight or percentage of body fat.
VO2 metabolic testing
Considered the gold standard in cardio respiratory fitness testing, VO2 measures the amount of oxygen a person uses during exercise. Using this value and your heart rate, precise caloric expenditures can be determined at different training intensity levels. With this information, a custom cardio programme can be designed to achieve personal goals, allowing you to train smarter, not harder.
Resting metabolic rate (RMR)
This test takes the guesswork out of dieting by determining the daily calories necessary to function at complete rest. Based on this data, our experts can design an individual dietary plan that allows you to eat according to your metabolism.

Combine resting metabolic rate (RMR) and VO2 tests to provide information about your metabolism and endurance capabilities. These key measurements are essential to developing fitness conditioning and nutrition programmes that will work for you.
Performance evaluation
A combination of fitness assessments, including body composition (BOD POD), metabolic tests (VO2 and RMR) and a posture and movement assessment, provides valuable data. Your results are reviewed in a 50-minute one-on-one consultation with a fitness expert, and personalised recommendations are made.
