Highlights
A Contemporary Interpretation of OmakaseOmakase, meaning “I leave it up to you,” is rooted in the traditions of Edomae sushi and reflects the trust placed in the chef’s expertise. At Sushi L’Abysse Osaka Yannick Alléno, that tradition takes on a contemporary form, combining the precision of Japanese sushi craftsmanship with the layered techniques of Chef Yannick Alléno’s French cuisine. From seasonal seafood to composed appetizers and inventive desserts, each course is designed to reveal a new expression of omakase.
Curated Pairings Beyond SakeCurated pairings at Sushi L’Abysse Osaka Yannick Alléno extend beyond traditional sake, with French wines, champagne and Japanese teas selected to complement the changing textures and flavours of the omakase. Guided by the restaurant’s certified sake sommelier, the pairing program is designed to enhance each course while reflecting the restaurant’s French and Japanese culinary influences.
