Kable's

Kable's, the Hotel's premier restaurant, offers a relaxed and vibrant atmosphere. It enjoys a substantial reputation, in a city known for its exciting dining.

Accessed from the lobby's sweeping grand staircase, Kable's offers a cosmopolitan Australian menu in an elegant, contemporary setting of dark-stained parquet and rich carpeting. It seats 120, with private dining rooms available for 10 to 50 guests, and a chef's table in the kitchen with seats for up to 16 guests.

Chef’s table

Get behind the scenes for a unique culinary experience at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney. The chef's table, located in the garde manger, is a stainless steel work surface transformed into a dining table seating 10 to 16 guests.

Our chef creates a personalised five-course menu, each course expertly paired with wines from our extensive wine list. After dinner, guests will enjoy a guided tour of the kitchen, including chocolate tasting in the Chocolate Room.

The chef's table is offered Tuesdays to Saturdays from 7:00 pm. For reservations, please call 61 (2) 9250-3306. A 10-guest minimum applies, and a deposit is required at time of booking.

Specialties

Enjoy Head Chef Carl Middleton's weekly two-course set lunch menu, offering an appetiser and a main course. Groups of up to 40 people are welcome; reservations are required.

Kable's modern Australian cuisine features choice seafood, shellfish and beef. Signature dishes include:

  • Western Australian marron, lobster orzo with tomato dust
  • Suckling pig with apple and apple-star anise sauce
  • Soft-cured petuna ocean trout with seaweed and baby radish salad with smoked sour cream

Four Seasons Hotel Sydney is pleased to offer an array of dining options to help celebrate the festive season. Choose from a traditional roast turkey dinner or a five-course Christmas lunch complete with traditional homemade pudding.

Gingerbread Village

It's Christmas once again, and our talented pastry chefs led by Chef Reto Stefania have been as busy as elves creating the perfect Gingerbread Village. Construction of the village began in October, and after 160 hours of detailed craftsmanship, the chefs' masterpiece is now on display in the lobby of Four Seasons Hotel Sydney.

Admire the intricate designs of the 18 buildings that comprise this mini winter wonderland. A patisserie, a church, a Four Seasons hotel, a farmhouse and a lighthouse are just a few of the impressive creations you will see.

Christmas Eve

On December 24, 2008, Kable's will serve a three-course prix fixe dinner with seatings from 6:00 pm until 11:00 pm.

Christmas Day lunch and dinner

Celebrate the holidays on December 25, 2008, with friends and family, and enjoy a special five-course prix fixe menu offered for lunch and dinner. Lunch seatings start at 12:30 pm, and dinner seatings start at 6:00 pm.

Dinner buffet on December 30

On December 30, 2008, Kable's will offer a plentiful dinner buffet with seatings from 6:00 pm.

New Year's Eve dinner

Ring in the new year with a six-course prix fixe dinner including a glass of champagne. Seatings begin at 8:30 pm.

AUD 240.00 per adult; AUD 120.00 per child (aged 6 to 12).

New Year's Day lunch and dinner buffet

Start the new year with a lunch or dinner buffet at Kable's. Lunch seatings begin at 12:00 noon, and dinner seatings begin at 6:00 pm.

Lunch: AUD 59.00 per adult; AUD 29.50 per child (aged 6 to 12). Dinner: AUD 79.00 per adult; AUD 39.50 per child (aged 6 to 12).
