Fitness Facilities
The spacious Fitness Center, situated just off the main promenade at the Coral Casino, offers the latest in state-of-the-art fitness equipment. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the pool deck provide panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean beyond. Cardio machines are equipped with personal entertainment systems, and iPod minis are available for use. Large and luxurious locker facilities feature spa areas with stone-clad steam rooms and red cedar saunas to enhance your workout. Complimentary fruit and juice are available.
Classes
Yoga
The Coral Casino offers a variety of morning and evening yoga classes throughout the week. Sessions range from active and aerobic to relaxing and restorative, focusing on meditation and breathing exercises. Pre-registration is encouraged; space is limited to 10 people per class.
Aqua aerobics
Aqua aerobic classes are offered at the Coral Casino pool on Saturday. All classes are one hour and vary from an intense low-impact workout to a slower-paced workout that incorporates weight resistance.
Mat Pilates
A series of floor exercises focusing on core strength and overall body toning. Classes are offered on Saturday and are suitable for all levels.
Masters swim
Classes are offered on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Each class is one hour and includes endurance strengthening and stroke enhancement.
Cabana 24
Providing an unforgettable seaside experience, the exclusive, private Cabana 24 is one of only two cabanas that are available for use by Resort guests in addition to members of the Club. This spacious hideaway, located on the Club’s second-storey sundeck, overlooks both the pool and Butterfly Beach, providing panoramic vistas of the Pacific Ocean and California’s Channel Islands.
Ideal for couples or families, Cabana 24 is available for full- or half-day rental and offers everything you need for the ultimate day at the beach: two chaises longues, a table with seating for four, a 42-inch (107-centimetre) plasma-screen television with DVD player, and private dressing rooms. A retractable striped awning offers additional shade. The teak wood deck and furnishings, retro detailing and thoughtful appointments evoke the glamour of the Club’s 1930s origins.
With dedicated service staff to attend to your every need, you can de-stress with miniature spa treatments, or savour exceptional cuisine and cocktails from the Coral Cafe and Bar in a relaxed atmosphere that combines nature with historic elegance. Guests can enjoy endless pampering – with hourly amenities that include warm or chilled towels, popcorn, fresh fruit skewers and smoothie samplers – or experience total privacy with the Do Not Disturb option.
