Overlooking the Hotel lobby, the Café provides a casual setting for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night fare, as well as providing specialty coffees and award-winning desserts.

Valentine’s Day On Sunday, February 14, 2010, enjoy a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner in the Carlton Room, featuring sparkling views of Chicago and majestic Lake Michigan. Executive Chef Mark Payne serves up a “his-and-hers” prix fixe menu that begins with amuses of smoked salmon, caviar blini and Kumonoto oyster with Prosecco, followed by appetisers of bison carpaccio and fresh goat cheese ravioli. Entrée choices include New York strip with oxtail red wine sauce and butter-poached Maine lobster with golden and black chanterelles. Complete the evening with desserts of white chocolate passion fruit napoleon and molten chocolate raspberry cake with milk chocolate ice cream. Toast the occasion with a complimentary glass of champagne.
