Overview

Sitting at 1,717 metres (5,633 feet) above sea level, the peak of Mount Batur is a relatively gentle sunrise volcano hike offering a big reward: panoramic views of Bali's mountainous landscapes. Set out on a Mount Batur trekking adventure to glimpse the first rays of the day as they reveal Mt. Abang, Mt. Agung (the most sacred mountain, home to Bali's mother temple), the island's east coast and as far as Mt. Rinjani in Lombok.
