- The Resort has been awarded 4 Keys from Green Key Global, a third-party certification program for hospitality properties.
- The Resort is certified to ENERGY STAR by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Department of Energy, and has achieved Florida Green Lodging Program 3 Palm designation by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).
- Electric vehicle (EV) charging stations are available for guest use.
- Bicycles are available for guest use.
- The Resort measures and tracks energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, water use and waste generation through the Four Seasons global utility management system.
- Vegan and vegetarian menu items are available.
- Linens and towels are replaced every third day, unless otherwise requested.
- Guest room controls and building systems support optimizing energy consumption throughout the property.
- Irrigation and landscaping are designed to optimize water use.
- Single-use plastics, including water bottles, bathroom amenities and takeaway food packaging, have been removed or replaced with non-plastic alternatives.
- Soaps and toiletries are recycled and donated to those in need through Clean the World.
- The Resort maintains an on-site garden that supplies herbs for use in kitchen operations.
- Seasonal menu items are available, including ingredients sourced from local suppliers.
- The Resort serves cage-free eggs.
- A food waste reduction program is in place, including AI-enabled tools to identify, monitor and reduce food waste.
- Partner Chef Mauro Colagreco of Florie’s, our flagship restaurant, focuses on nature-driven cuisine rooted in using the freshest hand-picked ingredients and has been appointed Goodwill Ambassador for Biodiversity by UNESCO.
- The Resort supports local biodiversity and conservation efforts, including through employee-led beach cleaning activities and sea turtle rescue missions.
- The Resort provides financial support to the Ocean Research & Conservation Association (ORCA), a nonprofit dedicated to protecting and restoring aquatic ecosystems and the species they sustain.
- Guests can engage in educational tours at local, natural, cultural, historical or heritage sites to learn more about the local community through our Concierge, including private guided tours of the Loggerhead Marinelife Center and the Everglades.
- Employees complete annual Human Trafficking Awareness training.
- Employees volunteer in the local community and support charitable initiatives, including participation in the Race for the Cure, various charity walks and the Chef for a Day program at Quantum House.
- Fort, our Resort’s official therapy dog, and a local community member visits organizations from schools to supportive homes to provide people with affection and compassion.
- The Resort prioritizes sourcing from suppliers that meet our environmental and social procurement criteria.
- The retail boutique in The Spa features products from Florida-based creators.
