- Bicycles are available for guest use.
- The Resort measures and tracks energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, water use and waste generation through the Four Seasons global utility management system.
- Vegan and vegetarian and Sattvic-inspired menu items are available.
- Linens and towels are replaced every third day, unless otherwise requested.
- Guest room controls and building systems support optimizing energy consumption throughout the property.
- LED lighting is in place throughout the Resort.
- Building systems and fixtures support optimizing water consumption throughout the property.
- Irrigation and landscaping are designed to optimize water use, including through on-site wastewater recycling system that supplies water for landscaping.
- Single-use plastics, including water bottles, bathroom amenities and takeaway food packaging, have been removed or replaced with non-plastic alternatives.
- An on-site water filtration and bottling system reduces waste from water bottles.
- A recycling program is in place, including collaborations with local waste banks, where proceeds from the sale of recyclable materials are reinvested into the property's Four Seasons for Good initiatives.
- Organic waste is diverted from landfill, including through the collection of food waste for off-site composting and use as an input for maggot feed through a collaboration with EkoSentra.
- Used cooking oil is recycled into biodiesel through a collaboration with Lengis Hijau.
- The Resort maintains an on-site garden that supplies herbs and produce for use in kitchen operations; the garden is used for guest activities at Sokasi Cooking School, including our Farm To Glass Mixology Masterclass.
- The Resort locally sources most ingredients, including seafood, fruits, vegetables, dairy products, coffee and tea.
- The Resort serves cage-free eggs.
- A food waste reduction program is in place, including AI-enabled tools to identify, monitor and reduce food waste.
- Surplus food is donated to Scholars of Sustenance (SOS), a local nonprofit dedicated to providing nutrition to those in need.
- The Resort supports local biodiversity and conservation efforts, including through a mangrove forest tree-planting program in collaboration with Mangrove Ranger, where each purchase of select menu items at our restaurants goes towards planting mangroves at the Mangrove Arboretum Park, Bali.
- Employees participate in river clean-up activities and other annual environmental clean-up events.
- The Resort hosts on-site beehives to support pollination.
- Guests can engage in educational tours at local natural, cultural, historical or heritage sites to learn more about the local community, including visits to UNESCO World Heritage Sites, chef-guided picnics, and the "Day in the Life of a Balinese Rice Farmer" program, which includes hands-on rice planting alongside local farmers in the resort's rice fields.
The Resort collaborates with local community tour group, Desa Rafting, to offer nature-based activities while supporting local livelihoods and community engagement. - The Resort offers on-site performances of traditional Balinese dance and music, showcasing local culture and supporting community-based artistic groups.
- Linen, furniture, equipment and medical supplies are donated to those in need through various charitable organizations such as Yayasan Senyum Bali and the Senang Hati Foundation.
- Employees complete annual Human Trafficking Awareness training.

- The Resort’s design and procurement policies prioritize Balinese-made materials to support local craftspeople.
- Bathroom amenities, spa treatments and retail merchandise products at the resort boutique are mostly sourced from local suppliers
