Overview

Sky Falconry offers an unforgettable experience free flying trained birds of prey in the picturesque mountains of San Diego. Participants engage in an intimate, hands-on interaction with hawks, falcons and owls while learning raptor biology, the ancient art of falconry, and conservation. This immersive adventure deepens your appreciation for wildlife while opening a window into the unique bond between human and raptor.

Things To Know

: An owl encounter can be added to the Private Raptor Experience for an additional USD 110.
Gratuities are not included.
Additional transportation is available upon request.
This experience is 1 hour and 10 minutes from our Hotel.
One portable bathroom facility is available on-site.
Our private road is semi-rugged. A standard vehicle is fine. Due to the nature of the road, motorcycles and low riding vehicles are not recommended.
While every effort is made to have the birds fit and ready to fly, we cannot guarantee the quality of flights as all birds fly as they do in the wild. Students must at all times comply with the falconer's instructions and Sky Falconry regulations. Failure to do so will result in immediate dismissal from the class.
Management makes every effort to complete the classes as described, but the varieties of weather, the health and disposition of our raptors and other externals beyond our control may make this untenable.
Sky Falconry offers no refunds for situations beyond our control and reserves the right to cancel an event with short notice. Sky Falconry will reschedule classes in the event of these conditions at no additional charge.
Waivers are required for all participants and observers and will be available upon arrival. Guests ages 17 or under must be accompanied by an adult.

: Due to limited availability, cancellations must be made by phone or via email at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled class or your booking may be forfeited. Credits will be given for your class and may be used at any point in the future. We do not offer refunds or credits for no-shows. Gift cards are available. No cash refunds will be issued for unused gift cards.
