: Our island features its own private runway, adjoining the Resort, and is linked by a 35-minute scenic flight from Mahé. Flight connections to Desroches depart from the Domestic Terminal of Seychelles International Airport (SEZ). If arriving from an international flight connection, you’ll be greeted by a Four Seasons representative who will escort you to check-in for your inter-island flight. The flight is operated by Islands Development Company LTD (IDC), with all bookings processed only by our Four Seasons reservations team.
: Depending on international flight connections for arrival or departure, some guests may need to spend a night at Four Seasons Resort Seychelles, located on Mahé, just 30 minutes from Seychelles International Airport. If you’d like, we can also help plan a combination stay so that you can experience the wonders of Mahé and Desroches during your time with us on the islands. : Please note that there is no cellular network on Desroches Island. Calls may be placed through the landline connection or via the Wi-Fi network.
: Wonderfully remote, but with 24/7 access to medical attention – allow us to offer you peace of mind during your stay on Desroches Island. In collaboration with ResortDoc, we have a qualified German doctor on call at all times. In our small but well-equipped Desroches Medical Clinic, you can expect international level first aid, emergency medicine and equipment, including vital monitoring, defibrillator and oxygen, instruments for anesthesia and small surgeries, ECG, spirometry and even ultrasound. In case of any medical condition, please feel free to book an appointment or ask for a room visit via reception. Charges apply.

MAHÉ TO DESROCHES (35 MINUTES) : Every Day, 10:30 am Throughout the Easter period from March 29 to April 10, 2026, and holiday season on May 2, 4, 6, 9, 11 and 13, 2026, an additional flight will depart every day at 4:00 pm.* *On April 3, 4 and 10, the additional flight departure will be at 4:40 pm. *On April 5, the additional flight departure will be at 3:00 pm.

DESROCHES TO MAHÉ (35 MINUTES) : Every Day, 11:30 am Throughout the Easter period from March 29 to April 10, 2026, and holiday season on May 2, 4, 6, 9, 11 and 13, 2026, an additional flight will depart every day at 5:00 pm.* *On April 3, 4 and 10, the additional flight departure will be at 5:40 pm. *On April 5, the additional flight departure will be at 4:00 pm.

Departure timing may have up to a 30-minute discrepancy.

: Yes. Scheduled flights to Desroches Island only depart from the domestic terminal of Seychelles International Airport in Mahé.
: If the daily scheduled flight is fully booked, we may arrange an additional afternoon service. Please confirm your domestic flight time with our team before booking your international flight. Private charter requests are also available and are subject to availability.
: Desroches Island has its own private runway, located adjacent to and within walking distance of our Resort. The island is connected to Mahé by a 35-minute scenic flight operated exclusively by IDC Aviation. Airfare is not included in the room rate, as flights are operated by a third party.
: Yes. IDC Aviation is the sole provider of domestic flights to the island.
: Helicopters cannot make the journey to Desroches Island.
: Yes. Private plane arrivals are possible but subject to approval by the aviation company. A landing permit and prior authorization are required.
