- The Hotel is certified as BREEAM In-Use in both ASSET and MANAGEMENT by Building Research Establishment Global, achieving an Excellent rating in both categories.
- The Resort is certified to Green Key International, a third-party certification program for hospitality properties.
- Electric vehicle (EV) charging stations are available for guest use.
- The Hotel measures and tracks energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, water use and waste generation through the Four Seasons global utility management system.
- Vegan and vegetarian menu items are available.
- Linens and towels are replaced every third day, unless otherwise requested.
- Guest room controls and building systems support optimizing energy consumption throughout the property.
- Implementation of an annual energy management plan focused on reducing energy consumption and improving operational efficiency.
- Building systems and fixtures support optimizing water consumption throughout the property, including water submeters, flow limiters and leak detection systems.
- Irrigation systems and landscaping are designed to optimize water use.
- Single-use plastics, including water bottles, bathroom amenities and takeaway food packaging, have been removed or replaced with non-plastic alternatives.
- Water bottle refilling stations are available throughout the Hotel.
- A recycling program is in place.
- An organic waste diversion program is in place, with with waste picked up and processed into nutrient-rich compost by an external partner.
- Used coffee grounds are collected by a local partner and repurposed as fertilizer to help cultivate the mushrooms that are served at Le George restaurant.
- Soaps and toiletries are recycled and donated to those in need.
- Glass yoghurt jars are collected and repurposed as soy wax candle holders by local artisans.
- The Hotel manages a nearby 1,800-square-metre (19,375-square-foot) kitchen garden, where fruits and vegetables are grown and harvested for use at Le George restaurant.
- Seasonal menu items are available, including ingredients sourced from local suppliers such as cheese, flour, butter and cream.
- The Hotel serves cage-free eggs.
- A food waste reduction program is in place, including AI-enabled tools to identify, monitor and reduce food waste.
- Surplus food is donated to the local community through Les Hotels Solidaires.
- 106 square metres (1,141 square feet) of vegetated surface and bird nesting boxes were added to the Hotel’s outdoor spaces to provide habitat and nesting opportunities for local wildlife.
- The kitchen garden includes beehives and flowering plants that support pollinator activity.
- Guests can engage in educational tours at local, natural, cultural, historic and heritage sites organized by our concierge team, including visiting the iconic house of Perrier-Jouet in the Champagne region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and home to the most extensive private collection of French art nouveau in Europe.
- Linen, furniture and equipment are donated to the local community.
- Local artists and artisans are featured throughout the Hotel.
- Employees complete annual Human Trafficking Awareness training.
- The Hotel provides employment and professional reintegration opportunities for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds through work in the Hotel’s kitchen garden.
- Employees volunteer in the local community and support charitable initiatives, including through Hôpital Robert-Debré, participation in charitable runs throughout the year, and donation of surplus hygiene products through Les Hotels Solidaires.
- The Hotel prioritizes sourcing from suppliers that meet our environmental and social procurement criteria.
