FAMILY AND KIDS AT FOUR SEASONSChildren’s safety is paramount at our Hotel, so families with infants and toddlers can breathe easy. Upon request, our housekeeping team can equip your guest room with safety amenities such as a bed rail guard and bottle sterilizer. A baby crib, extra bed or a sofa bed may also be arranged upon request at no extra charge. In addition, children ages 18 and under can stay at no extra charge in an adult’s room. Connecting rooms are available for multigenerational families or two families.

Kids DiningFrom November 1, 2022 to December 23, 2023, Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto offers generous savings for young guests at Brasserie restaurant. A complimentary kids menu is available for children under age 6 while kids ages 7 to 12 receive 50% off breakfast, and special lunch and dinner kids menu prices. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times in our dining outlets. Exclusively for in-house guests with direct bookings.

Our 20-metre (65-foot) indoor pool offers spaces both for laps and near-weightless relaxation. Two large whirlpools and lounges beneath the water's surface, plus chaise lounges on the deck are a perfect place to enjoy relaxing time with family. Playroom
Filled with exciting toys and board games, our playroom is an indoor wonderland for our youngest guests. As parents, you can relax on the comfortable zabuton (floor cushions) while your children engage in enriching activities. Located in the Wellness Centre (B2 floor), our playroom is available for 3- to 8-year-olds (maximum of 10) and is open daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. No reservations required. DIY Pizza FeastRediscover the joy of cooking together with our DIY Pizza Feast. This delicious experience invites you to make gourmet meals in your own private kitchen without the hassle of prep and clean-up. Ingredients are prepared in advance by the Four Seasons team and delivered straight to your guest room or suite. Featuring pizza with the chef’s special sauce, organic salad and fresh fruit tarts, this meal can easily be assembled by kids of all ages. Optionally, enjoy an entrée from Brasserie's kitchen, ready to serve at your dining table. Available from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm for two to four guests. JPY 25,300 per person. One-week advance reservations are required.
Rickshaw TourHop aboard the Four Seasons rickshaw for a scenic tour of Higashiyama and neighbouring temples. Guided by a driver in traditional Japanese uniform, this tour takes you beyond the guidebook. Explore secret destinations and discover the local lifestyle and food of Kyoto. Available daily from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm (varies seasonally due to daylight hours). Three-day advance reservations required.
Kids Indoor CampingFour Seasons Hotel Kyoto rolls out the red carpet for its younger guests. Little ones can looks forward to fantastical adventures in the Kids Tent, available only in Residential Suites. With an array of toys and games, this magical wonderland promises hours of fun. Kids ages 3 to 8 will receive a tent. Availability is limited, so advance requests are recommended.
