Begin the day at Canada Place, where visitors are invited to experience Canada with every from interactive, educational exhibits to celebrations. Fly Over Canada is an amazing virtual flight offering guests a breathtaking flight across Canada’s vast landscapes – without leaving Vancouver. Canada Place welcomed the world in 1986 as the Canada Pavilion for Expo 86 and is now one of Canada’s most recognized landmarks.

From there, wander Vancouver: extraordinarily walkable, extraordinarily shoppable. The Hotel sits atop 100 shops, with Robson Street, the city’s renowned shopping corridor, one block away. A few minutes further brings you to the delights of Granville Island Market, Gastown and Stanley Park. The fine arts of past and present centuries are on display in Vancouver's most beautiful heritage building at the Vancouver Art Gallery. Or explore Grouse Mountain – "The Peak of Vancouver" offers a host of mountaintop experiences for locals and vacationers. The Skyride Gondola whisks you to a vantage point of 1,128 metres (3,700 feet) for a superb view of the city.

Start your night with a Canadian dinner at YEW, the Hotel’s award-winning restaurant, featuring the best bounty of British Columbia food and wine. Cap off the evening with a dip in the pool before calling it a night – and be sure to keep the curtains open to enjoy the city's natural views.

Hit the pavement running, grab a coffee-to-go from YEW and rent a Mobi Bike from Vancouver’s public bike share program. Find a station near the Hotel, then pedal the seawall from downtown to Second Beach and continue to the Aquatic Centre to find a drop-off station before catching the Aquabus to Granville Island. The Granville Island Public Market features a farmers' market, day vendors, and artists offering local Vancouver goods. Alternatively, get your morning workout in by tackling the Grouse Grind – "Mother Nature’s StairMaster." Grab lunch and browse the goods at Edible Canada. Hop back on the Aquabus across the harbour to wander the unique sidewalks of Yaletown.
